Probably one of the first Japanese restaurants in Patong and popular among Japanese residents for its Ramen (Japanese soup noodle) Offers all you can eat sushi for 300 Baht. Located 1st Floor, Patong Tower, Soi Patong Tower, off the centre of the beach road.

Ariake
at Le Meridien Resort specializing in sashimi, sushi and shabu-shabu. Setting is a typical Japanese garden with private tatami rooms. Teppanyaki table and sushi bar also available.

Kiko Japanese Restaurant
A homely restaurant serving sushi, sashimi, teppanyaki and authentic Japanese dishes cooked by a Japanese Chef. It's the restaurant where local Japanese residents and tourists pining for the real Japanese taste go.
Open 11 am. - 3 pm. & 6.30-11 pm. at the Diamond Cliff Resort in Patong.

A Teppanyaki restaurant located in Paradise Complex where the chef gives a virtuoso performance of his culinary skills.

Da Maurizio
Possibly the most romantic setting of any restaurant on the island with great sunset views, Da Maurizio is right on the beach in Kalim Bay. Classic Italian dishes from an extensive menu including home made pastas and superb desserts from the Da Maurizio Family. Sit on the balcony, browse the menu, watch the sun sink over the sea and savour the aroma from the kitchen.

Roma Restaurant
Open from 1987 this is one of the first Italian restaurants to open in Patong. The owner, Mauro is also the chef - a guarantee of good and consistent quality. Good selection of Italian dishes plus international standard steaks. Private room at the second floor for parties or for watching live football. Located in Soi Post Office, just off the beach road in Patong.

Casa Mia Trattoria
Not a 'restaurant', just a 'trattoria', with good inexpensive food. A big TV screens all the important football matches. Set menu for Italian and Thai food. Good value. Located Soi Kepsab, 64/12 Taweewong rd (main beach road) - Patong Beach.

Napoli Ristorante Pizzeria
Old established Italian restaurant. Classic and tasteful decor, spaghetti always 'al dente', large menu selection. Soi Post Office Patong.

Malee Seafood
Authentic Italian and seafood right on the main beach road. Open daily 7am - midnight. Near Soi Bangla, Patong.

La Gondola
Regional Italian dishes served by passionate chef Rene Hardmeier. Located Merlin Beach Resort, Taweewong Rd (Beach Rd) south end Patong Beach.
