What to Do in Patong Beach
Probably the best beach in Phuket, Patong's 3,000 metres of white sand gently curves around a bay fringed with casuarina trees.
Plenty of room to laze around in your deck-chair (umbrella and side table provided) take a stroll along the seashore, read a book, or join a local friendly football match at sundown.
If you feel a quick energy burst, you could hire a small catamaran (with such a large bay, you're not likely to go off-course) go parasailing for an alternative aerial view, or hire a boat and go fishing and snorkelling around the coast.
If that sounds too energetic, have a pedicure or a massage under the shade of a tree. Or just relax and sip your fresh coconut...
