Of course we'd like to give you the impression that the sun shines all day all year round in Patong. However there are some periods from June to November, when there are occasional showers. The rain rarely lasts, but while it does, most people enjoy the cool refreshing respite from the heat and take a break in a favourite restaurant, go for a massage, relax in their hotel, take a nap or read a book, accumulating much needed energy for the next shopping trip or evening's entertainment.
